Head Office

Faitha Khelf
Chief Operating Officer

I’m originally from Algeria, and I came to Canada at the end of 2021 to give myself the chance to gain international experience and to learn more about the Canadian system in the field of early child hood education, which I’m deeply passionate about.

In Algeria, I studied law for five years, guided by my strong belief in justice, one of my core life values.

Although I had never practiced as a lawyer, I found my true calling in the world of children, the word of innocence . I have owned two early childhood centers, and after launching my first center, I returned to college to earn my diploma in Early Childhood Education. My final research focused on alternative pedagogies.

After three years, I dedicated time to learning coaching skills and went on to create and manage the Institute of Coaching and Excellence. This center focused on helping children over the age of three develop important life skills such as self-esteem, self confidence, self regulation and concentration through unique programs like robotics mental arithmetic (Japanese program) brain gym.  We also assisted parents with their children challenges.

One year experience as a college teacher (communication course).  To deepen my understanding of child development, I enrolled again at the university to study education and child psychology. I completed one year of education and half a year of psychology before making the decision to move to Canada.

Back in Algeria, I was also an active member of a national organization (The national organistion for the protection and promotion of children, working with the Ministry of the Interior to promote and protect children’s rights) I was chosen to represent my province, but I couldn’t complete the mission because I was in the process of leaving the country.

In Canada, I was hired as the director of a French childcare center in Souris, where I worked for three years. After moving to  Charlottetown, I decided to join an English speaking center to strengthen my English language skills—my fourth language—and to discover more about diversity and practices in English childcare environments.

In addition to my background in education and coaching, I also have knowledge of Chinese medicine practices and meditation, which support my holistic approach to children’s well being.

I’m excited to be in Cheif Operating Officer position and look forward to learn and grow together.

Georgia Driscoll
Director of Rainbow Early Years (Summerside)

I’m Georgia Driscoll and I’m the Director at Rainbow Early Years. I am passionate about developmentally appropriate practices, emotional regulation, inclusion, and early music education. I was born in Bath, England; raised in Geneva, Switzerland; and spent my teenage years in Fall River, Nova Scotia. I graduated from Acadia University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Music Therapy and moved to the Island that same year. I worked as a music therapist for several years and began my ECE career at Island Montessori Academy, as a special needs assistant. I attained my Level 3 certification through Holland College’s Accelerated Program. Life soon moved us up west, and I worked at Yuill Learn and Grow Daycare before becoming the Director here at Rainbow.

Outside of work, I sing with Luminos Ensemble, teach private music lessons, and coach horseback riding. My spare time is spent with my horse Mya, cuddling with our two cats Trooper and Arya, and going for adventures with our dog, Cito. I also value spending time with my soon-to-be husband, James, and our friends and family.

Dorraine Arsenault
Director of The Mount Playtime Daycare Centre

My name is Dorraine Arsenault.
I have been the Director of The Mount Playtime Daycare Centre  for just over five years.
Previous to that, I was Owner/Director of Playtime Daycare Centre in East Royalty for thirty seven years.  During that time, I experienced the many aspects of owning and operating a small business, interacting with pre-school age children of all ages and seeing their families grow through the stages of life.
I received my Diploma in Early Childhood Education at Holland College and continue to attend workshops and courses as a way of keeping up with the ever changing trends in the field of Early Childhood Education.
Becoming part of The Mount Continuing Care Community has been a rewarding and learning experience for both myself and the children.  Seeing the interaction between the residents and the children always brings a smile to my face.
I live in St.Catherines with my husband and my dog Cooper. I enjoy spending time with my adult children and my grand-daughter Ava.
